Day of Projects...again!

Plain American Eagle hat BEFORE...
AFTER!Has anyone seen this cool fabric? It's like totally ready to wear...the bottom is even hemmed. All you have to do is sew one side together! And I decided to add some fun trim! You could wear it as a shirt/dress or a skirt!I added tool and red ribbon to the bottom of this one.So cute to wear on the 4th of July!

K so I'm going to be out there in July for 2 weeks so I want to make some fun projects! Where did you get the fabric that's hemed! That's the best invention ever!! We can do a trade and I'll make you some antiqued vinyl signs and you sew. Deal!?

I'll for sure be staying for 2 weeks, maybe longer. It just depends on how long my family will watch our dog.

Bree cute stuff (speaking of all the blog posts I just caught up on!). Love all your skirts and your hat. You have always made cute, cute things.

I had to post on this one though because the ready to wear fabric has been around since I was a little girl. That fabric was VERY popular in the early 70's and all of us little girls had sundresses made out of that ready to wear fabric. My mom used to buy it and sew it up the back and add little spaghetti straps. They were my favorites!
I have been seeing it in the stores again and it is so fun!
It amazes me what comes back!
