The death of me...but oh so worth it!

For a while now, I've had my mind set on painting our cabinets. This took a lot of preparation on my end. I had to prepare my sanity for the brutal, LONG days this project would take. Now even though my husband wasn't nearly as enthusiastic about the project as I was, he stepped up to the plate and helped me do it. He's the best.
Here's what they looked like up until 2 days ago. Nothing hideous, but I had something a little better in mind.
I didn't realize how many cabinet doors we actually had. Here's my honey taking the doors off. I also helped... just took a break to take a picture of him. Naturally.

Only HALF of the massive mess we made removing everything in our kitchen. Sick.

Me sanding away. Excuse my trashy boy look.

The hubs painting the frame.

I tackled these sucker doors. Yesterday it finally hit me how dang hot it is in Mesa. I sat in that freaking garage all day sweating 5 gallons of sweat.
A little sneak peek.

While Bryce was at school, I antiqued all the doors.

Hubs putting the doors back on.

TA DA! I love them. Enough said.

The cute knobs I got. They for sure add the finishing touch!

These are amazing. Jack and I were talking about repainting our cabinets last night and we were both a little intimidated by it. I have always heard that cabinets are a HUGE job...and it looks like they are. After seeing these pictures I think I could actually accomplish it. I might wait till its a little colder though. Awesome job!
