Halloween this year was full of fun festivities! Friday night I helped Trent and Charde throw a fabulous costume party! We had yummy food, pumpkin carving, a costume contest, and Rock Band. I think it's safe to say everyone had a ball. Here's husband and I... bumble bee and sunflower! No, I did not have to bribe him to wear this costume!

Mud Wright was the winner of the costume contest dressed as "Dizzy!" For those who do not live in Mesa, "Dizzy" is a legendary man who rides his bike up and down Main Street screaming praises to the Lord and such! Correct me if I'm wrong Dad, but didn't you arrest him?

Hocus Pocus! These girls (Charde, Kendall, and Shawnie) rocked the Hocus Pocus witch costumes! Loved them!
Saturday night, we went out to my aunt Marcy's for some dinner and to see family! 
We then headed over to the in-laws for the homemade doughnut tradition! HEAVEN!
Then off to another Costume party we went. This time we added a few things to husbands costume. The pot and seeds! For sure makes the costume!

The pot and seeds did make the costume. Ok so that picture of everyone playing rock band, Austin and I are sitting in the back of the picture,Look at it I look like the devil! haha look at my lip curled up!

You did a great job on the costumes. I love the picture of Dizzy, and dad said that yes he did arrest him. I think dad arrested most of the city of Mesa. Glad you had fun.

Cute costume! Totally loving it. Those donuts really do look heavenly. Sick! aren't people supposed to buy things they eat! yuck.
PS. I call Katie Lucy for multiple reasons. 1. she had a doll named Lucy when she was little. 2. because one time I got really mad at her and called her lucifer, it was kinda funny, and eventually was shortened to lucy for when she was being naughty. Now she insists I call her that all the time, she's weird.

Oh man. I'm still so flipping scared of Hocus Pocus! So this weekend the roomies and I went to a dance on campus and they had HOCUS POCUS playing in the background.... I. about. died. I wanted to cry every time I looked up and saw the screen. Anyways..... ya scarred me for life!
