Yesterday was a great day. I slaved in the kitchen and made a beautiful, delicious (if I do say so myself) Italian dinner.
Chicken Fettucine Alfredo with homemade sauce (seriously the most amazing sauce, thanks to Ashtyn and her mom for the recipe!)
Caesar salad and Bruschetta with fresh mozzarella,
sparkling cider, and chocolate covered strawberries!
I'm pretty sure we each consumed 10,000 calories and I'm still dreaming about that meal!
But the best part of the day...husband walking in the door after work with a bouquet of flowers and a HAIRCUT!! I told him all I wanted for Valentine's day was a haircut. I honestly did not think he was going to cut it. He's been growing it out because apparently, all studly men have long hair, Pat Tilman, Samson...I don't know anyone else. But I hated it and I'm so happy he did that for me!
Love him.
My GG offered to watch Cannon so we could have a nice evening alone but by the time Bryce got home he didn't want to drive Cannon all the way out there just to drive back out a few hours later. So he warned Cannon that he better behave...and sure enough he just sat in his bumbo on the table and stared at the candles! What a sweetheart!
In other Cannon news, (old news sorry) Cannon starting sleeping through the night, got his first two teeth and learned to crawl all in the same week! He's growing up so fast! I happened to be video taping him when he crawled for the first time.
Excuse my man voice...I lost my voice for like nine days...it sucked. At least husband thought it was cute.

What a fun night. The meals sounds fabulous...I was thinking you could cook it for me when I come down in a couple of weeks. You don't need to have the candles but the rest would be good. :) I could watch video of that sweet baby boy all day long.

Ok I can't handle it anymore! I can't wait to see that little baby. I can't believe how big he is getting every day! Sounds like a fabulous dinner...nice work on the chocolate covered strawberries...I hope you didn't burn the chocolate this time ; ) I think we learned our lesson. I love you and can't wait to see you guys!

Way to go Bryce!!! My thing is when Zach shaves. I HATE it when he lets his beard grow. Its nasty! As for Cannon...and so it begins. Take it from me. Baby proof your house immediately. Once they learn to crawl your life is pretty much over. ;)
