S.O.S. please...

There are dishes in the sink. (I'm pretty sure ALL the dishes are in the sink)
I have to go to the grocery store. I hate the grocery store
Loads of laundry to do.
Clothes to fold.
Floors to be mopped.
Toilets to be scrubbed.
And yes...my Christmas tree is still up.

I'm overwhelmed. There are women who have five kids and still find the time/energy/desire to get everything done. Sometimes I question my ability to be a housewife. I put things off and then all of a sudden I have this massive list of things that need to be done. And here I sit, blogging away, holding my sleeping babe, instead of working on those chores.

A few things I am sure of...
I am capable of giving this little boy all the love in the world.
I am capable of loving his daddy with all my heart.
I can teach him about Jesus, and sunbeams...
And being respectful and kind to everyone.
I can sing to him, and rock him, and make him laugh...

...even if my house is a mess.

It is overwhelming sometimes. You'll get it all done or Bryce can (hee hee).
Cute pictures!

Bree, you are an amazing mom! I know how exhausting it can be. I look back and wonder how I had the energy to get it all done and how I actually survived. The reality is that I didn't always get it all done, and there were times I survived by just hanging on until nap time! Remember how much you and Dani loved clothes and loved changing your clothes at least fifty times a day? You were only two and three years old! Keeping up with your obsession was exhausting. I am not sure why I didn't just lock your door. Enjoy this time with Cannon. You won't get it back. The dishes and laundry will always be there anyway...waiting patiently. :) If I was there I would do it for you because that is what moms do. I love you.

It IS exhausting and overwhelming...for about the first year!! And then it's like something clicks and you feel like youre finally figuring it all out :) So no worries, every single mom has the same things going through her head!
